Awarded Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT MARKET ANALYSIS

The PCIDA sought to conduct an analysis of local and regional socioeconomic factors to support the Village of Port Chester’s planning and economic development efforts. The resulting data analyses will help identify potential strategies to leverage expected residential and commercial growth.  Objectives include maintaining an equitable and diverse tax base, promoting a sustainable economy, creating quality employment opportunities, and facilitating business attraction and retention.

The RFP was awarded to Aecom, whose report is expected in 2024.

PORT CHESTER SCHOOL CHILD MITIGATION STUDY UPDATE

In 2014, the PCIDA retained a consultant to develop a tool to assess the potential number of school-age children that might be generated by proposed residential developments seeking financial assistance from the PCIDA. The analysis was updated in February 2019 and an analytical tool known as a Public School Child Generation Tool (PSCGT) was incorporated into the Village of Port Chester’s Form Based Zoning Code SEQRA Findings Statement adopted in May 2020 and adopted as Appendix G. The PCIDA sought to review and update the PSCGT.

The RFP was awarded to Urbanomics whose report is expected in 2024.

PROFESSIONAL POLICY MONITORING SERVICES

PCIDA is seeking proposals from qualified consultants for Policy monitoring services for a two-year period subject to annual approval by the Agency’s Board of Directors. Every project seeking Agency assistance must comply with applicable Agency policies and the terms of various transaction documents.

The RFP is expected to be awarded Autumn 2023.
